Activated Carbon Water Filter
System
In an activated carbon filter, the primary medium is
activated carbon, supported by layers of gravel, pebble, and sand.
This method is highly effective for adsorbing organic compounds, removing chlorine,
and eliminating color and odor from
water. The color in water is usually measured in Hazen units and is influenced by
colloidal suspensions, aquatic growth,
and the presence of iron. Our activated carbon-based filter can be used for both
pre-treatment and post-treatment of
water and wastewater.
Activated carbon is widely used in water filters
because it effectively removes harmful organic compounds, such as
pesticides and heavy metals. This process improves the taste and safety of drinking
water, eliminates odors, and clears
cloudy water by removing color-causing compounds. As a highly efficient water
filter, activated carbon is commonly
utilized in water filtration systems.
